In Memory, So Many Vagues
Hélio Mattos Jr.
On my walks along the seashore, almost as if it were a ritual, I always go to the pier from where you can see a ruined structure of the old Vitória waterway, an object that deteriorates over the years and remains more or less submerged, at the mercy of the tides, also varying the incidence of light on it and the sea, throughout the days and hours.
Rag picker, more than a photographer, Hélio Mattos Jr. wanders through fragments of the landscape and the image.
